The event is held over three trade only days at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, located at Darling Harbour, within walking distance of many hotels and within minutes of central Sydney. The Pacific International Maritime Exposition is held biennially. With each event, the showcase has expanded and levels of interest and participation have grown.

Pacific 2010 will be the sixth event in this series of highly acclaimed international industry exhibitions.

The Pacific International Maritime Exposition is recognised as a focal point for international maritime, defence and naval technology.

In 2008 it attracted a record 437 exhibtiors from throughout Australia and 22 other nations. The event drew a record 14,000 accredited trade and military visitations.

There were 102 top level trade, diplomatic and military delegations.

Six major conferences were held in conjunction with the event, attracting a record number of delegates and speakers.

Journalists and media representatives and specialist maritime and naval defence publications were accredited to the event from throughout Australia and the world.

The Pacific 2010 International Maritime Exposition is expected and will again be an essential event on the maritime calendar in the Asia Pacific region.

Official photographic identification (passport, drivers license, defence ID etc) will be required to be carried with you at all times. For accreditation purposes, evidence of corporate or industry affiliation (such as applicable business card, association membership card etc) may also be required.
